Workspace Elmcore Co., Ltd. operates from Office 7, 29 Demo-ro, Mapo-gu, Seoul. We were established in 2019 after our founders spent two years helping relatives organize scattered hardware wallets following a family relocation from Busan.
How we began
In 2017, co-founder Soo-yeon Park returned from a year abroad to find her parents had acquired three hardware wallets with no shared record of which device held which assets. The envelopes sat in different drawers. A cousin knew about one Ledger; nobody could locate the Trezor backup card.
Soo-yeon and her colleague Ji-hoon Kim spent a weekend building a paper index and USB copy. Word spread through their apartment building in Mapo-gu. By 2019 they formalized the practice as Workspace Elmcore, limiting sessions to one household per week so each archive receives full attention.
Our approach
We treat wallet documentation as household record-keeping — closer to organizing a family safe deposit inventory than to financial advising. Every session produces tangible artifacts: labeled USB drives, a printed binder, and a household access map that survives even if one person forgets a detail.
We work only in person. We never request seed phrases, PINs, or private keys. Our practitioners carry no cloud-connected devices during sessions.
The team
Soo-yeon Park leads archive sessions and designed our labeling system. She previously managed records for a Mapo-gu legal office.
Ji-hoon Kim handles device photography and USB encryption. He spent five years repairing consumer electronics in Yongsan before joining the practice.
Eun-ji Choi coordinates scheduling and follow-up calls. She maintains our field notes blog and trains new practitioners on household confidentiality standards.
